YOUTH PROGRAMMING
Give your kids an opportunity to learn from an outside classroom. In our Urban Wholistics Youth Farmers Program they will have hands-on lessons focused on farming, sustainability, wholistic health, entrepreneurship, self reliance, and a broad list of environmental activities and lessons.

Programs focus on seasonally appropriate lessons that line up with the Ohio Department of Education Learning Standards and are taught by qualified professionals in the urban farming industry.

URBAN SOUTH
YOUTH FARMERS MARKET
Through our Urban South Youth Farmers Market (USYFM), we teach students the systems and processes of running a businesses through equitable urban agriculture. They learn the foundations of being an entrepreneur as well as vital life lessons including money management, budgeting, social skills, responsibility, problem solving, critical thinking and so much more.

The Urban South Youth Farmers Market is fully ran and operated by the youth farmers with the guidance of staff. We believe it is important to foster independence and responsibility in young people so that they can see the seed of potential within themselves.
