About

A youth enrichment program that connects students to the full food journey—from soil to table—through farming, cooking, and wholistic wellness. Join us every Tuesday starting September 23rd from 4-5:30pm. Program Overview Farm to Fork introduces students to the process of hydroponically growing, preparing, and sharing healthy foods. It combines hands-on gardening, culinary arts, nutrition education, and entrepreneurship so young people learn not just how food is produced, but how it sustains families, cultures, and communities. The Four Pillars of Farm to Fork 1. Agriculture & Sustainability • Students plant, tend, and harvest seasonal crops. • Lessons emphasize soil health, composting, water conservation, and regenerative practices. • Builds responsibility and respect for the land. 2. Culinary Arts & Nutrition • Hands-on cooking sessions using freshly harvested produce. • Focus on nutrition, food safety, and cultural food traditions. • Develops practical life skills while encouraging healthier eating habits. 3. Entrepreneurship & Innovation • Students learn how to transform farm harvests into value-added products (teas, sauces, jams, baked goods, etc.). • Introduces branding, packaging, and marketing through student-created logos and labels. • Encourages creativity, teamwork, and financial literacy. 4. Community & Wellness • Meals and products are shared with families in the program. • Teaches food as medicine and wholistic approaches to health. • Builds pride, leadership, and a sense of service.
